Creeping Wall Cress
Arabis × sturii
|
A compact species, quite different in appearance from the more familiar mounding types of Wall Cress. It forms a very low carpet of rounded, waxy-looking deep green leaves. Clusters of fragrant white flowers are held above in spring. A choice groundcover for a small area, also excellent for edging and in the rock garden. Great between flagstones. Drought tolerant, once established. Also excellent in alpine troughs or mixed containers. Plants are easily divided in early fall. Evergreen. |
