Also known as Bugleweed, this is one of the most commonly planted ground covers for shady areas. This refined selection forms a low carpet of medium-sized, glossy leaves, in an attractive bronzy-brown shade. Short spikes of deep blue flowers are an added bonus in mid to late spring. vigorous habit. Evergreen. Dislikes very dry shade. Easily increased by either moving rooted new plants at nearly any time during the growing season, or totally ripping apart an established patch into small pieces.
